Abiquiu and New Mexico Events - February 2027

February is the last of the quiet months, and the month the Santa Fe dining calendar does something useful for visitors: ten days of fixed-price menus across the city, running from 22 February into the first days of March. Presidents' Day gives it a long weekend, and after that the region starts filling up again for spring. Every date carries the source we checked on 15 October 2026.

Washington's Birthday / Presidents' Day (federal holiday)

The third Monday of February. Federal offices close, and it is the weekend Santa Fe's hotels and Taos's ski valley are fullest in February - if you want a room near the Plaza, book it early.

Santa Fe Restaurant Week

Monday 22 February to Wednesday 3 March 2027

Ten days of fixed-price menus across the city's kitchens, from the Plaza restaurants to the outlying ones, at prices the same tables do not offer in season. It is the best-value dining window of the Santa Fe year and about an hour's drive from Abiquiu; the Friday and Saturday tables go first.

The village has no fixed February programme. Winter walking, the Plaza Blanca photography and the hot springs an hour away at Ojo Caliente are what people come for; see when to go for what the weather typically does.
